- Grants are usually made for the benefit of projects and people in LaGrange and Troup County, Georgia.
- Preference is given to enduring construction projects and capital equipment.
- Challenge grants may be of special interest to the Foundation.
- Grants are usually not made for loans, debt retirement, endowment or operating expenses.
- Requests from churches located outside Troup County, Georgia, are not considered.

- Letters of request should briefly cover all aspects of the project, including complete financial planning and costs involved. Copies of budgets and current financial statements should also be included.
- Include a current listing of the organization's Board of Directors or the appropriate governing entity.
- Organizations other than churches should submit copy of Internal Revenue Service letter regarding exemption from taxation under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- The Foundation Board meets four times per year in January, April, July, and October. Grant requests and applications are due the last day of the month preceding the meetings.
- The General Manager is liaison officer between the Board of Trustees and the public, investigating all grant requests for submission to the Board for decision.
